EMDR Intensives & Retreat-Style Healing · The Berkshires, MA

You've done the work of understanding yourself. Now it's time to actually feel different.

EMDR therapy intensives and retreat-style healing for high-achieving women and helpers who are exhausted from holding it all together — designed to create real change in days, not years.

The Reframe

You don't have to struggle for years to feel better.

If you've spent years in weekly therapy and can recite your attachment style, name your defenses, and explain exactly why you do what you do — but still feel stuck — the problem isn't you. It's the format.

EMDR intensives aren't just for single-incident trauma. They're for the slow-burn wounds: attachment trauma, burnout, people-pleasing, and the quiet exhaustion of being the reliable one for everyone but yourself. Focused, immersive work can move what years of fifty-minute sessions couldn't.

Who This Is For

When you're carrying it all, something's bound to break.

01

You're the reliable one — at work, at home, in every relationship. People can always count on you. Rarely the reverse.

02

You can talk about your patterns until the cows come home. You understand the "why." You have no idea how to actually change the "how."

03

Anxiety runs your days — tight chest, racing thoughts, sleepless nights, a body stuck in overdrive.

04

Your relationships aren't what you hoped for. Conflict, distance, or patterns you can't seem to break no matter how hard you try.

A Few Common Questions

How long is an EMDR intensive?

Intensives are 5 hours per day over 3 days. Before your intensive, we'll meet for a 90-minute goal-setting session, and afterward, a 30-minute follow-up session to help you integrate and carry the work forward.

Are intensives more effective than weekly therapy?

Intensives can be just as effective as weekly therapy — in less than half the time. The concentrated space allows for accelerated, deeper healing that gets to root causes faster.

Do I need to travel from Boston or NYC?

Many clients do — Great Barrington is a few hours from both cities. Intensives are also available as a focused, restorative reason to get out of the city for a few days.
